Sounds like my mother, who'll throw anything from her stockpile of meds she's squirrelled away for the past 30 years at any problem she detects. "Have a cough? Here, take this Biafrin --it's still good"
I suppose that, if it got it in its head to do so, my 17 lb cat could do me quite a bit of damage before I broke its neck, or my sister's 75 lb Lab could rip up a few people before someone took a shovel to it. But I've never gotten the whole owning-a-pet-that-can-actually-overpower-me thing. You hear about the occasional yahoo who owns a tiger or crocodile or python, but they ususally have the decency to get caught violating various laws, ordinances, etc before the animal gets a chance to escape or flip out.
I had no idea chimps got up to 200lbs, but I do know that primate muscle tissue is something like 2-3 times denser than human. Even a small monkey can fuck you up.
