An eloquent friend of mine (whom I met thru being a geeky Elvis Costello fan) has been posting tributes to Mr. Lee on FB.

My favorite so far:

"Christopher Lee did many extraordinary things in his life, yeah, but it's not like he worked with one of The Beatles or something.
