Who is right?! Yes it is annoying to be a designer, present a product then have it changed, but they are paying you, yes or no?

Or is it, "they hired me, I should be able to do what I want?"

Shouldn't a web designer know that people who hire them most likely have no idea what they are talking about? Or are there very extreme situations that no human should have to endure?
