What happened? Why did Sardy leave? I've inferred by reading others' posts that he deleted ALL of his posts. Why?

I'd like to buy some information, Vanna... (And start from the very beginning...a very good place to start ;) )

If this is legit, you'll be missed, Sardy.
 
I posted a thread where people could pick a number and I would post that number pm from my mailbox.

Well the thread was going pretty good when suddenly it just disappeared and I was suddenly logged out and unable to log back in.

A few people got curious and posted 'what happened to para's thread', after a few big question marks Sardy comes in and announces he deleted the thread and deleted my account.

Then there was a period of stunned silence followed by a whole lot of What the fucks.

After a while Sardy post again implying that other mods and missmanners herself ordered him to put everything back. He then went nuts, said goodbye, and deleted all of his post.

There is some disagreement about when he actually deleted my account. Whether it was when he said or later when he was deleteing his own posts.

Why did Sardy get upset at your PM thread? Did you post any RL info?

I don't agree with what Sardy did. But I can empathize with why he did it. Para is a moron in more ways than one. And deleting his account doesn't carry a prison term like strangling him would.

You're right about the empathy, because it was a no-win situation for him. He could have asked Para not to reveal the PMs. He could have edited them out. Who cared about Sardy's publishers?

But to drop TK like it was dead weight? Meh.
