I want to smell dark matter
There's a trailer for this Marvel YOUNG ADULT tv show already, even though it isn't on tv until next year?



So, umm, remember to bump this thread in a year when I inevitably watch it.
 
I was more excited when I thought it was going to be on Netflix, tied into the other Marvel shows.

Exactly. It's not like Cloak and Dagger are famous well known superheroes. I hadn't even heard about them or seen them until I watched the Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors cartoon.
 
I didn't even know they were making this. But I'm intrigued. Cloak and Dagger were always an visually interesting team to me, but I never really knew much about them. I think Cloak absorbs life energy, and Dagger emits it in light and can use it as weapons (like in the trailer, and thus the name Dagger.) or to feed Cloak without hurting herself, so they have a romantic/symbiotic relationship. It be interesting to see what they do with it, if they go the symbiosis route. The romance is a given.
 
The trailer didn't grab me, mostly because it takes so long to show that it actually is a superheroes show. I'm sure I'll give it a go, though.
 
The first two episodes will be on "Freeform" tonight if you're American and have that channel and will be on Amazon Prime in the UK tomorrow. Or you could steal it using the internet.
 
First episode was very good, I thought. The two leader actors were good and the show looked more like Netflix quality than a cheap network show (I still don't know what Freeform is.) Second episode dragged a bit with all the cutting between the two stories and just made me want the two main characters to meet up. Luckily, given the ending, it looks like that will happen in episode 3.
 
I just finished the 1st one, I'll get to the next one tomorrow. IMO!

It was pretty good. I like that they got to the origin story stuff right away. I'll be glad when they meet up again.

This looks like it's going to be pretty good. The acting is good, Tandy is cute.
 
Well they did start out that way. Tandy was from the scientist family and Tyrone was from the thug family. I guess Tyrone's mom got it together after she almost lost her marbles.
 
Yeah, the show is still good. Usually if it was going to be shit it would happen by now!

I thought the Voodoo stuff was really cool. I'm glad they're finally going to talk.
