I think registration date would be a factor as well.
 
The clone sent me a pm to laugh at me.
 
The clone also said something odd, in the pm. That I, me, may have hit all over the net, but she's still Neon. To know that, she must have been snooping. And it's true. I AM all over the net. Sounds like a stalker.

Have a unique or identifiable posting style is a start. Obviously, it won't help prove who you are, but people familiar with you can use it to discern you.

Example: There is a distinct difference between me mimicking Jack's style than when Jack actually used this account, as the underlying tone of this handle's posts shifted when he used it.
 
It has taken a nasty turn. More tomorrow. I really don't know what to do.
