I started a thread to honour the brave Iraqi's who died during their fight for freedom and they give me 3 warning points.

Fuck you Chris whoever the fuck you are.
 
I sometimes wonder if you post this stuff with a straight face, or are you laughing your ass off at the time.. Damn you are one of a kind DS.

Could you explain this warning points system, and why a comment inappropriate for a particular forum could warrant 3 of them? This is out of curiosity, of course.

a normal warning is worth 3 points. If you get 15 points, you earn a banning. Normal warnings expire after either 3 or 6 months (I forget which) - which is pretty fair. A "friendly-warning" is 1 point and expires faster (probably 1-3 months). Anyway, if you, by some freak of nature, earn 15 friendly warnings in a few months you can get banned.

Basically the points are just a way to distinguish between the force of the warning.

Not quite. A "friendly" warning is one point and expires after two weeks and doen't count towards a PB.

An official warning counts for three points and expired after 180 days.

All three of my warnings have been in the Help Desk. :)

And does posting something in the wrong forum usually merit a friendly warning, or a more serious, sterner warning?
 
Fudgesikle is lying. He had warnings from many of the other forums (too stupid to realize what room he was in) He did not get 3 warnings from that one post.

No. King Elwood does not trust me for some reason.

You can see a few of Popsikle's warnings in the other forums though. As far as I know, he got 1 warning for the Memorium thread. The rest were for infractions in the other rooms.
