Comicon not accepting registrations?

a friend of mine wants to register at comicon, but the admins have yet to approve his account - despite his repeated attempts to log in. what gives? what is their critera for approval?

He's very upset as he was looking forward to making a real contribution to the board.

Due to my constant reg spamming, they have to approve accounts now. No more open reg.

Just one more way I pwn Veitch and that piece of shit board

I have a new sock that was never approved. Its cool though. A sock in the gutters is moot at this point. Well, more than usual.

The last I heard, you have to use an official email, like one that comes from your ISP.

Yahoo or Hotmail won't cut it.

I guess they're just not accepting idiotic, closeted wannabe trolls or their associates.

He's reviewing reg pretty closely, i.e. not at all for the most part, unless it's brought to his attention by a non troll reg.

I was able to register a new account from a gmail account just a week or two ago to get some lulz from Alex Buchet's banning from The Comics Journal message board. It took a few days, but the account was approved without any further efforts on my part.

Maybe you should try a more subtle screenname than Queermo MacFaggotlicker?

It didn't used to be that way it all. It was open and instant reg. So of course, someone who fit into Veitch's perfect world (and was alerted to that fact after a few days) would get their reg approved "after a few days". No big deal.

Imagine, having to wait a few days for Veitch's approval just so you can troll me at another board!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you know what's even funnier? It isn't even me! You've been completely trolled into believing it is though. :bigass:

Good times! This troll works on many levels and very effectively, unlike your weak hater daycare dribble you think passes for trolling.

Of course, with Figz high fiving you in Geekland, you think of them as "virtual molestations" and have even gone so far as to admit having done them at another board..

That gives me LULZ, I'll say that.

Probably not. I could check, but I really don't feel the need to log in to that piece of shite board. It's an awful setup after one's made themselves at home with phpBB or vBulletine.

lolwut?

Send him to the john with a laxative then. Being full of shit leads to painful constipation and I don't want to deal with bitching and moaning.
