Eggs Mayonnaise
All In With The Nuts
I was up all night and morning -- my office sent me a new PC tower yesterday to swap out my old one. (I'm working in Windows 7 now, yay!) The PC arrived around 2pm, which is when I sign on to work, so I couldn't swap the computers until after I signed off around midnight.
Swapping out the PCs was not a big deal (besides the hours of customizing the desktop and loading apps, and getting my bookmarks/favorites JUST RIGHT in each browser etc etc), but getting my modem/router working again WAS a big deal which kept me up into the night and early this morning. It's fun to talk to a sleepy Time Warner support guy at 5AM.
I did all the geeky things needed -- I must have crouched down and unplugged the modem and the router and plugged them back in again in order over a dozen times -- but the router wouldn't budge. Finally I started swapping ethernet cables around to see if there was a bad one in the bunch, and things started working around 9AM-ish. I signed on to work again at 2 with a nice new computer, and baggy, half-closed eyes.
COFFEE! NOW!!
