"RRRRRARRRR I'M THE PIB MONSTER" said the Pib Monster.
"Hi," said the girl.
"RRRRARRRR I'M GOING TO KILL YOU," it said.
"Why?" she asked, playing with her cute hair.
"BECAUSE IT'S WHAT I DO, RRRARRR!"
"Why?"
"I'M A MONSTER RRRARRR!"
"have you tried not being a monster?"
"YES, RARRR!"
"Really?"
"I PLAYED OUT SCENARIOS IN MY MIND AND THEY ALL WENT BACK TO ME BEING A MONSTER, RRARRR!"
"Well, why not be my friend? Why not try that?"
"NO, GOIGN TO EAT YOU, RARR!"
"Okay, fine, you say you always go back to being a monster? Well, be my friend for a while and if that's true you'll end up eating me anyway."
"UMM, I SUPPOSE..."
"Good!"
"RRARR?"
"Rrarr."
"I LOVE YOU"
And that little girl's sunny optimism saved the Pib Monster from a life of crime.
Unfortunately they were both gunned down by terrorists eight days later and died in agony.
