I Love Luci
Hi all,
SP8 here, let me just start off by saying ‘Curry, everybody loves it, everybody wants and needs it‘.
My business partner DH and I recently undertook a trip to Japan to undertake a pilot study into the Japanese peoples acceptance and enthusiasm for a new breed of superhero. The Curry Rangers!
Now you may be familiar with the Power Rangers, but did you know there are many, many other groups of Rangers in Japan? I'm not an expert, but just for a quick background, the "Goranger" were the original Ranger group("go" means five). Like the "Gorangers" every subsequent ranger group has had five people, four male and one female, all clothed in tights of various colors and sporting visored helmets on their heads.
Unfortunately as we are still struggling entrepreneurial university students we couldn’t fund our dream completely. So we had to settle for just us two rangers two make the trip and embarrassingly we due to the aforementioned budget constraints, matching attire was in order.
The above picture gives you and idea of what the "Curry Rangers" are about. Following the ranger laws set down by our Japanese buddies there will be of course a total of five CURRY RANGERS each representing different flavours of curry e.g.
1 - Yellow Chicken Curry Ranger
2 - Black Bean Curry Ranger
3 - Pink Pork Curry Ranger (female of course)
4 - Red Shrimp Curry Ranger
5 - Brown Beef Curry Ranger
Now like I mentioned the Japanese have a long history of Loving curry and of idolising ‘Rangers’, so clearly there is a ready market out there for the CURRY RANGERS!!
Now take a look at the following picture and you will see an example of the reception that we received in Japan. On average parents were not so impressed with us (but maybe that had more to do with our total inability to communicate in Japanese) But the kiddies LOVED US!!!
The young curry loving child market in Japan appears to be completely under exploited! There are literally millions of potential Curry Ranger loving kids out there who hassle their parents into buying our products! The potential is mind blowing!
DH and myself have unfortunately been unable to find corporate sponsorship to develop and market our brand, so like many brilliant \ideas and inventions we are currently seeking alternative backers.
We look forward to conferring with you,
Best regards,
SP8
