Dave Lee Travis - 13 counts of indecent assault

DLT is a UK Dj who was big in the 1970's & 1980's. He was one of the old style DJ's (Like Jimmy Saville) who had loads of bad sound effects (Quack Quack Ooops was the famous one)

He is up for trial (as most of the DJ's of that time appear to be) for indecent assault. These are milder charges than most, but he is fighting for his life.

No one is really sure who is telling the truth, if there are some money grabbers out there or if this is just part of a bigger "it's what we did in 1977" type shame.

So - who should turn up today to the court - The Chuckle Brothers.

They were photographed outside, about to go in and be (we assume) character witnesses for DLT. You would think they would adopt a more sombre demeanor?

Guess again - here they are outside the Court!

Actually they're there because Barry caught "DLT" (he doesn't seem important enough to get an acronym but it does save time...) about to molest a girl and stopped him? That's what I read a whole ago. Must be bizarre being on the jury in these cases.

One if the chuckle brothers was done for molesting a woman's breast a few years back IIRC... Top character witness there. why not just throw away the key altogether?

Ken Barlow found not guilty...of course part of you thinks "well he probably did it but it was so long ago they just didn't have enough evidence." BUT LEGALLY I DON'T THINK THAT.
