You'd be suprised. At my little board, I had 40 guests on more or less all the time. I researched the ips and could they all belonged to a Chineese search engine. Most good search engines only have a couple logged on at a time. This one was doing it all wrong and had 40 - 50 connections at once, which was taking roughly the resouces of 400 human users. (bots refresh constantly at a pace far faster than people can) In any event, not sure if you have access to the ips or not, but if so look at the ranges and look them up. I'll bet you'll find a lot of search engines there.
