Dexter: Official Countdown to Season 5!!

Sooo...Dexter starts on Sunday, and I can't wait. Last season was definitely on par with Season 2, which I still rank as my favorite. Julia Stiles appears in this season, and they're implying that she'll somehow be a disciple of Dexter.

Any predictions for this season??

Forget Thursday -- Sunday is the most jam-packed night of the week for TV.

Tonight alone: Season premieres of Dexter, Simpsons, Family Guy, Desperate Housewives, brothers & Sisters, Cleveland Show, Amazing Race, Eastbound & Down, Undercover Boss, and Sister Wives, plus new Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Bored to Death, The Glades, et al.

However, I haven't followed Dexter so I won't be watching that.

The sad thing is that NFL Football on NBC will beat all of these shows by a wide margin in the ratings for the next few months. There oughta be a law.

I think this is the season opener that I'm most excited about. What will he do?!

Simpsons: okay
Desperate Housewives: Good setup for the season
Brothers & Sisters: Insufferable (but I still watch it anyway)
Amazing Race: some good teams, should be entertaining
Boardwalk Empire: got through 15 minutes, will have to watch the rest tomorrow
Family Guy: Boring, drawn-out, pointless, stopped being a comedy in the last 15 minutes. Sucked.
Mad Men: WOW. Still the best.

I don't watch Dexter, Bored to Death, or Eastbound and Down. Maybe someday.

I watched Dexter instead of Boardwalk Empire. I MIGHT try to catch a rerun later in the week, if I can remember.

Dexter had me tearing up several times. Good season premiere!
