Did Gyles Brandreth go insane live on tv?

I'm pretty sure this was a dream, but I heard a news report that concern was growing for Gyles Brandreth after he appear to go mad live on tv, declare "I AM NOT GYLES BRANDRETH", hike his jacket up so it looked like wings then ran out of the studio flapping them making motorcycle noises. If it wasn't a dream I probably would have heard about it by now though.

I also had a dream that Lost was based on a novel and I read the novel to get spoilers (which no one else had thought of) and found that the Others are really called "The White Rose Cult". And I was excited at knowing this huge spoiler. Oh, and I was Hurley in this dream.

It's interesting what a dying brain dreams of.

Maybe if enough of us say that the Gyles Brandreth thing was true it will circulate the internet to the point where people will actually think they do remember it.

There are huge posters of Hurley and Syied on either side of the road I take to work.

So far no 40 foot high Kate though.

I watched the latter half of Countdown today and wondered if Andrew Sachs had been turned mute by the Ross/Brand fiasco. He didn't say a word for the half hour I was watching and at the end the presenter said thankyou to the contestants, dictionary corner babe, letters/numbers babe and the audience, but didn't mention Sachs at all, who remained silent as the credits rolled.

Maybe he made rude comments during the break and they blanked him for the rest of the show.
