If you don't know, now ya know
I've been intrigued lately by the iPhone and iPad Marvel Comics apps, largely because they would make comics affordable to me again. At $1.99 I still can't afford to buy more than 10-15 per month, but right now I don't buy any, so at least I'd be able to keep up on the really good books.
I checked out Marvel.com for the first time in ages, and they have a subscription plan for digital comics where you can pay $60 for a year, and have access to thousands of online comics. However, the site isn't exactly user-friendly, and it appears that most of the comics are pretty old. At least 2-3 years old, and some going back to the 80's and before.
Has anyone used the site? Do they eventually get newer comics online? I've thought about going to Westfield or some other mail-order company, but they're just too expensive for what you get. Plus, I'm not really a collector anymore, I want to get rid of some of my comics, not add to the stacks. My garage is pretty full as it is.
