Do Colors Make that big of a Difference?.

OMG! I am trying to post and am totally distracted by the colors! Sooo many colors! Do you think it makes that big of a difference to those who are not color blind?

I am sure there is a way to change this personally for me is there not? Can I access my user CP and go to a setting and choose my own color? Or am I stuck with the color I am given?
