I shattered my IPod touch screen tonight. Just like that. In 1 second it was gone. Ruined. It still turns on, but what is the point?

I shouldn't be sad but I am. I guess I realized I kind of liked it and the camera is nice.

I cannot justify purchasing a new one, when I just got a new phone-not because of cost, but they do thesame thing.

I figured. I am over the initial shock now. I will look at other options.
I have been thinking about converting to apple/ mac. Did I say that right?

I have a nice gift certificate to best buy that I have been planning on using towards a laptop or tablet.

I have an ipod for music/podcasts and android on my tablet. Or my wife's tablet rather.

I can't seem to do eveything I want to easily enough on one or the other. I'm fucking old.

I googled ipod service/repair for my area (needed my headphone jack replaced) and found a local co. that did it for $25. I would think there's someone similar near or sort of near you.
