Does "The Crow" really need to be remade?

I was never interested in the original.
 
It had good music.
 
So does A RECORD STORE.
 
It does seem to be the quickest way to get rid of actors.
 
Stephen Norrington (BLADE) has signed on to direct THE CROW, which will be less a remake of the movie and more an adaptation of the original comic by James O'Barr.

WELL THE ORIGINAL MOVIE WAS AN ADAPTATION OF THE ORIGINAL COMIC SO YEAH MAYBE IT WILL BE A REMAKE OF THE MOVIE YOU CRESENTWRENCHED WICKERSMURF!
 
I dont think we need any more films that encourage young people to become emo goths.
 
Fuddlemiff's right though, the soundtrack made that movie. NIN, TKK, The Henry Rollins Band, Rage Against the Machine, and the Cure. The remake will use Fall Out Boy and the Madden brothers.
