In the first Dirk Gently book he wrote about machines that watched tv programs for you, so you dont have too, and its come true, I call this a skybox, it records series for me, I can put them on series link so it gets them all, and then when its looking full, I can delete them.

Skybox takes another beating today, as I sit down to watch the island which I taped a few weeks back, it says "the island continues after the news" -> 5 minutes of news then "end of program".

Seems my ultra smart skybox recording system dosnt realise that if a film is split in half by the news, I might actually want to watch the second half.

The second half is when that film becomes tolerable.
