I don't take kindly to threats from people I like. Especially, in view of the fact I have not broken any rules.

If your and others' idea of the Mine Field is to be a SACRED forum then state so in a list of rules prescribing poster behavior in the Mine Field. Until then, the hand-waving of "do as I say and not as is written in the rule book" you're doing right now is unbecoming of an Admin of TK. It's the kind I would expect from boards with draconian administration, not TK. And especially not from you. I always thought you were smarter and more mature than that.

You're talking about this BBS not an 'other, less open-mined BBS', hence you have (again) posted it in the wrong place.

This should be moved to Day Care, IMHO.

Contrary to popular belief, it now appears that this BBS has joined the ranks of the "other, less open-minded BBS's..."

Evidence: Eggs Mayonnaise's threat to "take action against" me for no reason, other than the benign infraction of his not "liking" what I post.

So there!

Admins have the right to express dislike of posters, just like everyone else. I don't see what he's doing that's exploitative of his admin powers.

This board is not an 'other, less open minded BBS'. You have posted this in here based on your personal opinion, which many of us do not share. You have chosen the wrong forum. You are in error - again.

This should be moved to Day Care.
 
You misunderstand my comments. And after all, this is a troll board, as you say...

Why I could mean any number of things! Up to you to decide how to act from there...

Expressing dislike of posters is one thing. Threatening to "take action against" posters one doesn't like for no other reason is another. The rules don't provide for the luxury of personal likes and dislikes of posters when administering the board.
 
^I was Day Cared by mm on a personal whim. You're wrong. The admins do as they please.

BTW - This thread has been posted in the wrong forum.

You do get my point about the Mine Field, don't you? If you expect a certain behavior in there, then such should be stated clearly. Otherwise, it makes no sense to get so impatient with me as you demonstrated.

I can be a real pain in the ass if I wanted to. Believe it or not, I have refrained from that kind of behavior because: 1) I like TK, and 2) I like you.
 
People who waste the staff's and membership's time following endless, repetitive, meaningless goose-chase debates over alleged rules/policy can be dealt with the same as flooders and hackers. I'm just sayin'...

See, that could be read as a threat too. It goes both ways.

Expect back what you give, that's a nice rule to ponder about TK.
