EI Guidelines?

With the way the discussions are going, it just makes me want to bang my head against the wall. These are supposed to be quidelines for a MESSAGE BOARD! The way it's being handled and talked to death is like they trying to draft a set of rules for an entire nation. The United States Constitution didn't even take this long to sort out.
