EUROVISION

I want to smell dark matter
John Barrowman should run out on stage, kick the UK entry in the face, say "I'LL TAKE IT FROM HERE, LASSIE" whip out his massive intrument (his penis) and start playing it (masturbate.)

AND WE'D STILL COME LAST FUCKING EASTERN BLOC!!

It was actually a really good show this year. The UK had a decent song that got a respectable number of votes (20-something, compared to France's 2) and a man in a dress with a beard singing what sounded like a Bond song won it.

I didn't get why everyone kept calling the winner "THE BEARED LADY" when it was obvioulsy a man in a dress? Or am I not being PC ENOUGH?

I though the UK should have done better but I didn't watch the whole thing or form constructive opinions or anything.

The news has hit America...well, the gay American press, anyway:

Conchita Wurst, a drag performer from Austria, has been named the winner of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark with her song “Rise Like A Phoenix.”

Wurst, a.k.a. 25-year-old Thomas Neuwirth, nabbed 290 points. The Netherlands’ The Common Linnets came in second with 238 points and Sweden’s Sanna Nielsen, who came in third with 218.

Wurst won in a year marred by political strife in Ukraine, and negative comments about her. (The Russian politician responsible for the country’s gay-propaganda ban called her a “pervert.”) Wurst told the crowd in Copenhagen, “This night is dedicated to everyone who believes in a future of peace and freedom. We are unity and we are unstoppable.”

YOU GO GIRL

It seems really positive and like Europe is oh so inclusive until you remember this is basically a continent wide gay pride parade, so I'd question if any straight people even voted.

If it's a drag artist then is it right to call them "she"? I guess it depends if they identify as female? I'M NOT GOING ALL MOGH I'M JUST WONDERING.

Generally, it is customary to call a drag queen "she".

I'm not sure of the protocol when it comes to genderfuck illusionists, or queens who keep their facial hair. I suppose you have to ask them one by one.

Maybe the UK would get more points if it weren't for Nigel Farage?

"Conchita what are your pronouns"

NOT IN MY STORE YOU DON'T!

So this beard I've had for 20 years is about tolerance? I thought it was just hiding the extra chin, but mmmmmkay.

I have a goatee, so maybe I am only half tolerant.

I never watched the show, but a friend who did recommended the polish entry to me.
