Grant Goodeve (David Bradford):
· Had a serious drinking problem until a car crash finally convinced him to turn his life around.
· Dated his TV sister Laurie Walters.
· (1999) Lives in Seattle with his wife and children: Two daughters and a son. Hosts documentaries.
· (2001) Now a born-again Christian, Grant is hosting "If These Walls Could Talk" in Seattle on the Home & Garden television network.
Lani O’Grady (Mary Bradford):
· Sister of Don Grady.
· Found dead in her home in Valencia, California. [25 September 2001]
· In a 1994 Times interview, O'Grady said she had long suffered from severe panic attacks, which led to her abusing prescription drugs and alcohol for more than a decade.
· Lani was working as a talent agent (like her mother, Mary Grady, who was one of Hollywood's top children's agents) at the time of her death.
· Born Lanita Rose Agrati, she changed her name to Lani O'Grady after landing her role in "Eight Is Enough" (1977), a comedy-drama that starred Dick Van Patten as the newspaper columnist father of eight children. The series ran from 1977 to 1981.
· According to toxicology tests, she died of a drug overdose, she had fatal levels of Vicodin and Prozac in her bloodstream. [16 January 2002]
· Was cremated and her ashes scattered in Hawaii.
Laurie Walters (Joanie Bradford):

Dianne Kay (Nancy Bradford):

· During his Eight Is Enough years, he formed a rock band (Willie Aames & Paradise). His band made appearances on an Eight Is Enough episode, The Easter Seals Telethon, United Cerebal Palsy Telethon & Kids Are People Too.
· Favorite past times are hunting, fishing, and woodworking.
· (2000) Lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and daughter, and works as a children's pastor. He also tours the country as Bibleman.
· (2003) Has announced that he will be stepping down from the part of Bibleman in the touring production so that he may spend more time with his family.
· (July 2005) Competing on VH1's Celebrity Fit Club 2.

· Gained roughly 90 pounds with her pregnancy, and then turned to cocaine to help her lose the weight because she feared being fired.
· In 1999, she suffered a nervous breakdown, and was hospitalized and placed on suicide watch. She was later released, and has now fully recovered.
· Claims that in the 1980s, she was held hostage in Korea by filmmakers who tried to kill her. She now says that the disbelief of others in Hollywood is what ruined her career because she could not find work.
· (2000) Is working as a caretaker at a retirement home in Pennsylvania.
Connie Needham (Elizabeth Bradford):
· Is a trained ballet dancer
· Is married and has 2 daughters: Kim and Taylor.
· Dated her TV brother 'Willie Aames'
· Teaches dance classes at the Jimmie DeFore Dance Center in Costa Mesa, California.
· Married one of the set designers on "Eight is Enough."
· Daughter-in-law of director/producer Hal Needham.
· (1999) She and her family live in LA, where she teaches dance classes.
Adam Rich (Nicholas Bradford):
· In 1996 "Might" magazine ran a spoof on dead celebrities and included Adam's name in their list, which was picked up and ran by other media. In fact, the article was just a spoof and Adam was very much alive. Nonetheless, many people are still surprised when they find out he is alive today.
· Adam was arrested several times from 1983-91 for drugs, shoplifting & breaking and entering.
· In April 1991, he smashed a pharmacy window in an attempt to steal drugs. He was arrested and was bailed out by his TV dad, Dick Van Patten. He was almost immediately rearrested, this time for shoplifting. He pled no contest to both charges.
· Started smoking marijuana at age 10.
· Dropped out of high school at age 17, in 1986.
· Feb. 20, 2003: charged with DUI after nearly hitting a police car on a closed-off section of I-10 in Los Angeles on Dec. 18, 2002.
