I got sick of Civilization and purchased Everquest 2 this week. Well if downloading the 9 discs into my computer isnt enough, I am now online downloading patches for it, 38 hours of them to be exact. Well only 18 hours left to go and I may finally be able to play this sometime Monday. Any one else here play this game before?
 
Evercrack? Never again will I play that game.

While yes, it does take a while, it should be well worth it.
 
Finally got to playing it last night. I had to get more RAM for my computer was the last hurdle. Fun game. What was your reason for quitting?
 
I was playing EQ2 before I started the new job..
I liked it.. Might play it again, but right now trying to adjust to the hell that is my new job..

I am still on the training island. Started a second character when I realized what quests were. I was just going around killing things at random. I decided to make a second charater and avoid all the mistakes I made with the first. Right now I am going into the cave to destroy that evil cleric and knock over the four hands for the 9th time. I keep getting killed.

I found in that cave that it is better to have a group with you..
Even playing on the evil side, it is still a bitch to play with out a group..

Well I got through that and went off the island but after that I decided to make yet another character and I just killed the blademaster on Sapswatch hill. I'll be getting to the cave again tomorrow.

Please advise me on more efficient ways to waste time since you are the expert.
