Battlestar GalacticA: still the best show on tv but try to hard to be arty and shockng and pointless sex scenes and making the mythology up as they go along.

Lost: serisoul, ther's no answers, they'll never explain the numbers and, while that quite as bad as Heroes, most of the characters have been RAPEd.

What about Dexter? I've just watched the whole of the first series, and have to say it was pretty bloody brilliant (no pun intended).

The only part of Dexter season 1 I didn't like was the ending. For a series that's so unusual and daring, they did something incredibly predictable and lame.

Dexter is the most ownage show on television. I'm surprised you didn't like the ending, Fuddlemiff. Are you talking about the twist or the last scene?

I thought the final scene was really well done.

I finished Season 2 the other day (was absolutely brilliant, very happy it didn't go lame after a great first season *cough* Heroes *cough*)

Just have one more episode of Season 3 to go to get up to date (we're only three episodes in, right?) and it's been good so far. Also, Jimmy Smits!

If there were any criticism to be levelled at Dexter it would have to be how the entire Miami Police Force seems to spend ALL its on screen time running after murders that were either committed by Dexter or are linked to Dexter. But that's totally unavoidable really so it's not much of a criticism. At least it is pushing the plot and character development forward constantly.

I can hardly be bothered to watch Heroes anymore. Quinto is the only watchable element these days. It's just way too sporadic and stupid.
