Explain me something...

What are the steps involved?

Check your IP address:

1. Start>Run
2. Type CMD in the box.
3. In the (mock) DOS window, type IPCONFIG

Next, open your web browser and enter your own IP address. You should be prompted for a username and password. Check your router's user manual for the default login info if you haven't already changed it yourself; otherwise, enter the username and password you selected.

You should now be taken to your router's menu. Should be a page there for port forwarding, and it should be pretty self-explanatory once you reach that. Not to mention that once you get to that page, I can't really tell you exactly how to set it up without knowing exactly which brand and model of router you have.
