OMG the first cold day of the year. I actually turned my air conditioner off last night and haven't turned it back on yet.

*Cassie realizes that people from the great white north would never think 57 degrees is "cold"

57 degrees is cold, if it's been unseasonably warm for a month like it's been up here.

The heat started firing up over the weekend in the building -- I still hadn't closed all the windows in the apt. yet.

NOW I NEED WINTER CLOTHES THAT FIT FUCK.
 
It's in the 50s here in the wee hours of the morning, but around 11:00 it should be around 75 or so. I wish weather would stay like that in Texas.
 
I had to get extra blankets out last night! I love this time of year. My electricity bill drops to almost nothing, and I my dog gets snuggly.
 
Ooooh...My dog does too! She's such a fickle little bitch when it comes to her affections (I've read that's usual in Rhodesian Ridgebacks) but she gets all cuddly.
 
GODDAMMIT, fall is only going to last a couple days. It will be summertime again by Tuesday :rwmad:
 
I'd suggest you write your member of congress, but they'd probably would just tell you to pray the sun away.
 
That's what they do all the time. They live in their own delusional version of America that suits them but doesn't work with reality, logic or common sense. Not to mention human decency. BUT IT'S OKAY BECAUSE THEY'RE CHRISTIANS, THEY'RE THE GOOD GUYS, NOT LIKE THEM MUSLINS.
 
frost on the ground and my car this morning.....but when I went for my flu shot it got all bright and the sky is now an azure blue so all is good! However, I DID take the verandah plants in and am glad I did so.
