They're bringing his reamains into Syros to the Main Church here to be laid to rest. I'm not sure exactly why they dug himm up and decided to bring him to Syros instead but there you have it. Hundreds of fireworks have been exploding out to sea and the bloody church bells have been ringing for hours, they woke me up. This is a deeply Catholic/Orthadox island, they take these things very seriously. Military ships are floating just out firing fireworks off even. I ran up onto the roof a few minutes ago to capture at least a few images but my battery was dead so I only managed to snap two before the fucking thing died.
I managed to get the boat procession coming in though. I have a pretty amazing view from my roof.
