She's 20 I think. And I can understand her being upset if she liked Aaron then found out he got off with somenoe else (even though he had no way of knowing Faye liked him since she always denied it and treated him like some asexual bumbling fool), but she blatantly lied at the end saying Aaron had "went off on one" and insulted her when it was her who was insulting him and he walked away rather than get into an argument. SO THAT'S WHy.
