Americans are great like this. Europeans can sometimes accept stuff and shrug their shoulders a little saying "It's always been this way, what can we do?"

Americans don't take any of that shit. I like that a lot.

Well, we're only great about the srs business of corruption in sports, not so much when it comes to all the other kinds of corruption. I mean, they had congressional hearings about steroids in baseball, but why aren't they having congressional hearings about Wall Street, or police brutality, or WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, or FUCK EVERYTHING WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE.
 
lol. Tbh, I was hoping he would get re-elected. If the other guy (a prince?) had got it, they might've managed to get away with it by acting as if a change in management meant a clean slate (because a bloody prince taking charge doesn't sound fishy at all).

Have to be thankful to the US for doing what no one else seemed able to, though I'm sceptical that any major sponsors will drop out. There just seems to be too much money in it it.

Maybe headvoid can explain why Coke even need to advertise, when their closest rival is frequently offered with an apology by people the trying to sell it. "I'm sorry, but would Pepsi do? It's all we have. I am so very sorry."
 
Nothing wrong with a little graft, it's when you get to greedy with the boodle, that people tend to get displeased.
 
I love it how we all suddenly think we might get the World Cup to come to the UK. Why are we so delusional about this sport?

I bet you we would bung someone a bit of cash to get it here as well. It's just we are terrible tippers compared to the Arabs.
 
Considering how many other events involved bribes it's really only a matter of time before we hear the same happened with the 2012 Olympics.
 
I saw some thing on the tv about somebody warning Blatter to not try and retain power when the next elections come about.
