Heh..heh...heh! Welcome to the club, you'll soon be hopelessly addicted! I currently have 489 movies in my queu!

^^That was going to be my reply. Someday soon, your queue will be unmanageable long, and you'll never be able to watch everything you have in there.

^Not true, until I froze my account I had some 500+ movies in my queue and I watched about 3 a day everyday. Summer is so boring without Netflix, I can't wait to sign up again!!

Some of us have less free time than others, I guess. :(

Plus, my queue is filled with foreign films, which means if I'm going to sit down and watch them, I can't be doing anything else at the same time, because I have to be able to read the subtitles. Some French movies I can watch and understand about 60% of, but there's so much slang.

I'm seriously thinking of reactivating my account, mainly because the choices here in Bumfuck, Egypt are very limited, and I'm searching for a very specific, very obscure film. I can't find it, anywhere.

I really miss living in the middle of civilization. I really do.

Talk about :(, you just made me feel bad for spending my lazy summer nights doing nothing but watching movies. It's so great to lay in the cool house with some fresh popcorn, an icy drink and a good movie.

^^I would KILL to be able to do that.

Well, that's not true, I wouldn't give up the joy my son brings me for all the A/C and popcorn in the world, but you know what I mean. Sometimes, I'd like to be someone other than "Daddy". It does happen. :)

Oh, I'm already addicted. <g> But now that I have joined, suddenly I've forgotten every movie I've ever wanted to see!

Isn't that always the way?

I do have that kind of time, too LakerGirl, since my work hours are extremely odd, so when everybody is going to lunch, I'm already heading home. I have plenty of time to watch my movies. Heh.

What obscure film are you looking for? Are you sure there was actually a DVD release? I'm sometimes amazed to find out what still hasn't been released to DVD, at least not in Region 1.

I also live in BFE, so I sympathize. We have a Blockbuster, a Hollywood Video, and one independent store, none of which carry anything but your standard Hollywood fare. Hell, I can't even find copies of classic Hollywood films here.

And L_G--sorry to make you feel bad. It was just my envy getting the better of me.

The majority of residents where I live are older snowbirds. The demographic doesn't favor anything but the most popular choices. I'm lucky to even have a Blockbuster nearby. The closest mall is 20 minutes away, and that is only a one level dealie.

I would kill for a Virgin Megastore.

Okay...
I went thru the whole ordering rigamarole, and I appear to be stuck on the "processing order" page.

For 15 minutes now.

Is this normal? I'm in a state of limbo.

Okay, the order just went through. But it took forever and a day.

Anyway, the film should be arriving in 5-10 days.

I'm looking forward to it. :)

Yeah, when you figure it'd cost $3-$4 to rent it, you'd might as well buy a copy.

There's a www.deepdiscountcd.com, too.

Oh, and the 5-10 days thing is inaccurate. Even with free shipping, I usually get my stuff from them within three days.
