I barely remember the original story, but I just watched the trailer with no sound and it STILL looked creepy as hell. I'll watch it...
 
Every time I am in thick fog I think of this story and it freaks me out! And intrigues me.

Stupid Question, but is this coming out in Theatres?

Yes, in theatres a week from Friday. They just released the novella as a standalone paperback.

I think it's the claustrophobia that's so effective in the story, that, and the aisles of the supermarket suddenly taking on significant meaning for various reasons.

Very interesting study on many levels.

That's so totally wonderful.

That is not the original ending, but I'm sure it is King approved.

Good movie. It has been long enough ago since I read that story that I'd forgotten most of it. The moral of the story is never hang around with a person who says "expiate" more than once.
