Food and the Super Bowl

I was checking my Yahoo email and caught this headline:

Enough for four quarters?

Check out the top snack searches for ideas to make your food last through the Super Bowl.

Now, let's dissect that bit of media wisdom.

When did it become a requirement to EAT through the entire Super Bowl? The typical American that the media loves to parody as lazy, fat, and a tv-zombie is not only laughed at, but expected now to eat non-stop through the length of the Super Bowl.

We can thank the media for caring so much that they want to help us stuff the faces they laugh at without interruption.

When did eating become something done for pleasure rather than done because you're hungry? The media establishment disgusts me.

Why Do You Hate America?

Well, you cheap assed Marvel comic villain... I don't, in fact, hate America. I love America. I've killed ragheads for America.

I just don't like football and I think all football fans attending such an event should be required to have a small plastic football shoved up their asses.

But that's just me.

The absolute hottest guy I'd ever known in my entire life (excluding my current boyfriend of course) once said to me, "I don't like football, it's barbaric." I've thought of him as quite the nancy ever since...It's a shame really.

Speaking as someone that loves football so much she's actually gotten the Philadelphia Eagle symbol tatooed on her ankle, those who hate football can SUCK IT PUSSIES!!! And yes CU, much as I love and adore you and the beautiful Blondie, that means you.

I'm preparing proscuitto wrapped fruit wedges for the Super Bowl party I'll be attending.

Rugby? PUH-LEEEZE! Try getting your ass knocked around by 300 pound linebackers. Rugby is for pussies that are ascared of football.
