I fear we will get more rain than snow, which means everything freezes over and many people attempting to operate vehicles will perish.

My state has the salt trucks out and running every time snow is even forecast. The streets might be bright white and your paint job might be ruined by the time November comes, but I've never had to deal with black ice in the city.
