Robot mushroom people are hilarious!
 
I guess this was mostly setup, after last week’s jam packed episode. But I’m glad Dawn’s alive. I wonder why his nanites stopped working. I guess the spacesuit ate them.

Do we know if season 4 has been commissioned? It feels like kind of a niche show at this point, so I worry.
 
They have a new showrunner and new writers for the next season, but it hasn't been officially renewed. I wonder if it will still be so weird and crazy with a whole new team.
 
The internet says it's pretty likely it'll get a fourth season. They already slashed the budget for season 3.
 
I wouldn’t have guessed. They must still be spending a hell of a lot on it. There’s never a bad shot.
 
Remember Gaal's home planet in the first season? That looked really expensive, so I can see how it's maybe a bit cheaper now (but still looks good.)

The robot cultists aren't very tough! Day beat them all up by himself.

I'm starting to get suspicious that Bayta is the REAL villain!?
 
Oh I forgot about Day falling into the pit! It's so gooey. lol OH yes, creepy mushroom priest is DEAD. I hope he gets teh head back to Demerzel.

I agree, there's something up with Bayta.
 
Magnifico said he loves Bayta and he's "never felt a love like that before" then Gaal sees The Mule in his head because Bayta made herself look like that in his head. She is evil like ALL WOMEN.

Wow, well called Wacky! I didn’t pick up on that at all. I thought it was a bluff and Magnifico was still the real Mule LIKE IN THE BOOKS and was only making Bayta speak through him.

I guess Dawn might have survived, but I’m sad they killed Hippy Day and Demoiselle (sort of). It wasn’t looking like a very satisfying conclusion until the last couple of minutes tbh, but I am now looking forward to seeing what the robots get up to next season.

Prediction! We don’t see any robots in the first episode.
 
3.10 - Robots on the moon! I remember one of the books was titled 'Foundation and Earth' but I can't remember what happened in it.

Demerzel is dead!? Or did her brain upload before she died? I hope she isn't dead.

Dawn is probably still alive and will be old enough to turn into Lee Pace next season.

I wish we got a bit more of Bayta after the reveal, she just says "I'll explain everything..." to her himbo husband but we don't get to hear it yet.
 
I don’t think there was much for her to explain, except for who the fake mule was, since Bayta was really the kid whose parents tried to kill her.

Surely Demouselle will be back. We saw her eye light up just before she died, so I think the clasp at the end was her, not the head. She might even be able to restore her body since there was a bit of her head left. In a previous episode she said her consciousness was spread throughout her body, so in theory any fragment would be enough to sustain her.
 
The clone goo was pretty disgusting! OH no, HIPPIE DAY :'(

I'm pretty sure the clasp at the end was the head, because they showed it sparking up right before. I do hope they can restore Demerzel, though! She was a great character.

I feel like I missed something. Is Bayta alive? How did Gaal get away?
 
I assume Gaal just ran away and left Bayta because she wasn't strong enough to defeat her after being shot. It was all a bit rush.

Someone on TrekBBS says that the lights flashing on Demerzel's robots eye when she died were spelling out "TRANSFER COMPLETE" in morse code.
 
Maybe the skull connected with Demerzel and the other robots.
 
That was what I assumed. They’re all meant to connect at the same time, right?

If douchebag Cleon destroyed Empire then that freed her. OH PLS LET DEMERZEL COME ALIVE AGAIN. (as a cat)
 
I can't imagine they axed her for budget reasons, I don't think the actress is that famous. Whereas I'm convinced Jared Harris is paid by the minute and that's why he's only in it for 3 minutes an episode now.
