Irina Rodnina spoke about the return to sports of Alexandra Trusova and Kamila Valieva:
– The girls are trying to return because they don't know how to do anything else. No matter how harsh it may sound, that's the truth. I don't think that's rude.
Apparently, they're not that interested in the show anymore. They still feel like athletes, not performers.
In my opinion, Sasha has always been unmanageable and focused on the highest goals. She had her own opinion, which I consider very important for an athlete.</p>
I want to watch both of them again, but I don't see any interesting intrigues for me

Anna Shcherbakova — on overcoming fear in lifts and trusting her partner in "Ice Age":

It was very scary the first few times, even though at the moment I understand that these aren't overly complicated lifts. The first time I did it, I was shouting on the whole ice, but Kostya immediately said to me: 'Don't be afraid, I'm definitely not going to drop you, I'll always hold you'.

When situations arose where we could fall or mess up a lift or an element, no matter what happened, Kostya would always take the brunt of it, and I'd end up in his arms. So I understood that I could trust him.

Now, the lifts that were in this program were a part where you could rest, because the most difficult thing is every triple jump, every run, every connecting step between elements.
Because when a non-professional figure skater and a single skater skate, the most difficult thing is pair skating, and learning a lift and doing it a few times in training is one of the simplest parts.
