Game of Thrones 5.5 'Kill The Boy'

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
Dany makes a difficult decision in Meereen. Jon recruits the help of an unexpected ally. Brienne searches for Sansa. Theon remains under Ramsay's control.

I hope Jon's "unexpected ally" is Hot Pie.

Why is Dany's acting always better when she speaks in High Valyrian?

It was good that Stannis said "fewer" as he is the King of Grammar.

Roose didn't say "don't make me rue the day I raped your mother." :(

Isn't Sansa supposed to be acting like she wants to marry Ramsey? She seems to have dropped that already. I still don't really get this story, though the acting is good OF COURSE.

The scene with Jorah and Tyrion in Valyria was really well shot. It's the kind of thing they couldn't have done in the earlier seasons.

Don't care about Missandei and Grey Worm, sorry.

The Brienne stuff still feels really contrived?

Where the fuck is Arya. She's only been in two episodes.

Dammit, I saw the first 20 minutes and the last 5 minutes because we had a horrible storm that knocked out my satellite :rwmad:

I saw up to the old lady telling Sansa that she still has friends in the north, and then I saw the bit at the end when Tyrion saw the dragon and they lost their boat AND THEN the satellite went out again.

It'll be on again a bunch, so I'll just have to TRY AGAIN.

It was one of the talkiest episodes in a while, but that's ok because GoT convos are always fascinating.

Did Brienne know for certain that the man she spoke to could be trusted? Did she just think he'd be ok because he looked like Sean Bean and lived where he did? Seemed like she took quite a risk over someone she's sworn to protect.

Ramsey is the Joffrey.

LOVED the shots of Tyrion and Jorah's journey through Valyria. It looked so lifelike, mysterious, spooky and beautiful. The only pity is it was over so soon.

Cool to see the stonemen too. We've been told so many times how bad greyscale is and now we have the proof. I wonder if Jorah can be cured by dragons in some way, or if he's doomed and Danaerys forgives him as he dies or something.

A different character has greyscale in the book but he doesn't seem to be in the show (he's also the only gay point of view character, fact fans!) so it makes sense giving it to a main character. Shireen was cured of it but we don't really know how I guess.

Here you go Cassie: Watch your favorite TV series online for free.

If the feed is fussy, just refresh the page.

DO NOT fall for that yellow bar under the video window saying you need to update anything - java or some plugin. Just select the video you want to see and click play. Again, if it says it's unavailable or some shit, just refresh and try again.

Thanks Pandora! I caught up with it last night (HBO reruns it lots of times).

I didn't miss much, anyway... Just Ramsey being disgusting, and Theon being pathetic.
