yOU gotta consider Greg's position on this line. It seems to me that they asked him, "Hey, you wanna be in Star Wars?" and of course he said yes of course and then he got to the vocal booth and saw the line he needed to read.

"No, really, that's a shit line," he was heard to remark.

"Well, Mr. Lucas would really love you to read it anyway, just to see what it sounds like as you say it." as the sound man got his record button all greased up and ready.
