Hambil appreciation thread

yeah, but a lot of them safeguard this site. It's because of his work we've got a site at all. I do give the man some credit. His faults lay in his abuse of admin powers.
 
It's hard to find a competent tech who's both willing to work at a free-speech board and not batshit insane.

Hambil was a compromise. He was somewhat insane and somewhat willing to admin here.
 
i discovered during my brief stay at SC that Hambil is actually a very nice guy.

Hambil should ditch Cait & get the heck back to TK where he belongs.

He was just dumb. That's what made him a decent troll. He didn't even realize his own comments.

He was barely competent. It goes beyond being able to code simple PHP: it was the glacial pace he instituted changes or reverts which board members SCREAMED for, or the changes and additions no one asked for in the first fucking place. Then people all had to take turns petting him when the changes he implemented (which no one asked for) were removed, which hurt his feelings.

He was a piece of shit tech, and it's good to have him gone.

If it's at all possible, you're even more of a jack ass than i previously suspected. Hambil was well liked at TK & just cause he's gone doesn't mean you can bad-mouth him & have the respect of anyone here. :roll:
 
I nominate Kefak for most useless member of TK relative to the size of his mouth.
