The moon was bright tonight
I could see the stars
fog overlapped the freeway
the truck lay on its side
traffic began to pile up
I avoided the disturbance
by meere seconds or minutes
said a prayer for those involved
wished patience upon the waiting
Took a detour and drove on by
Later I stopped and I got a cigar
and I pointed at a guy
was that someone I knew?
He will question why as he drives a long
and then
realizes he will be waiting
turned up my stereo
and counted
the moose
and smelled the roses
fall is here
summer is over
leaves changing colors
fair in progress
smells of toast and soup fill the air
crispy leaves
frogs
beneath my feet
A day in the sun on the water
friends attending dinner
extending an invitation
Oh no, said I
for it had been a week
I quickly excused myself
drove on down the road
listened to his voice
and pleasured myself
until I reached my destination
I dislike the Equinox. There's a period of about a week where there are random (short) outages of satellite communications. It makes things difficult if one happens when you're trying to align a dish. Or worse, troubleshoot an existing system.
I don't really care about equinox. The full moon this time annoyed me a bit as I wanted to see the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune (which was invisible due to the moon being too bright). On the positive side, the ISS was nicely visible last night
