I AM THANKFUL TO BE ABLE TO SPREAD AWARENESS THAT THE WORD "FOLK" IS ALREADY PLURAL AND YOU DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE TO SAY "FOLKS" IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. HOWEVER "FOLKS" IS IN WIDE USAGE IN AMERICA AND CONSIDERED PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE SO USE THAT IF YOU WANT TO! I'M JUST SAYING YOU HAVE OPTIONS.

But I'm going to tell my folks about it sounds better than saying, "I'm going to tell my folk about it"
 
FUN FACT: HARDLY ANYONE SAYS "FOLK" OR "FOLKS" OUT LOUD, EXCEPT POLITICIANS. FOR SOME REASON THE MEDIA AND OTHER PRETENTIOUS TYPES LIKE TO USE IT ON THE INTERNET TO SEEM FOLKSY. TO BE SUPER WITH IT, YOU SHOULD REPLACE THE KS WITH AN X.
 
And yet somehow, I feel as if that awful VOY episode might have seemed 5% less suck if it was titled SPIRIT FOLKS.

On Friday at work someone asked what kind of food I made. So I told them and they said, "Wow, is that all for the freezer?"
NO YOU BITCH! ITS ALL FOR ME! I'm going to eat it. ALL THIS WEEK! ALL BY MYSELF YOU BITCH!

And now when I pull out my leftovers to eat I think, "Should I have frozen this?"
