Hey chicos y chicas, what is shaking? I am starting a new thread because it is my MISSMANNERS-GIVEN RIGHT.

My summer is going really really great but I am just too busy to get here often. I am playing music shows quite a lot, have a new job I really enjoy, am having the best relationships with my children that I have ever had, and overall am just one happy motherfucker at this exact moment. I hope each of you is similarly well, and I really miss you guys. I will probably not be around much until the end of summer (when my show and work schedule eases up), but I really do thank you guys for helping me through some tough-ass times and for being the best friends on a board possible.

I'm sorry I didn't really post much to build on.

Some ideas:

- summertime is not a good time for sports in America, because it only has baseball

- I am rather indifferent to the idea of seeing Transformers 2. Does that make me a bad sci-fi fan? I love Transformers the series from when we were kids but I didn't really think the first movie was all that great.

- Should I rent Caprica? I didn't stick with BSG b/c it got too soap-opera-y for me.

- Is the accordion the most underrated musical instrument? Similarly, is Tejano-music-karaoke awesome, or what?

Caprica is worth renting, IMO. It is a bit soapy, but in a good way, srsly. Of course I can rent movies for a dollar a day, SO DEFINITELY WORTH A DOLLAR.

Summer is good for MUSIC FESTIVALS however so that's a PERFECT SUBSTITUTE for summer sports unless its soccer in which case I just told a WHOPPER
