Hey, it's sad, but I just found out last week that Pluto is gone?

I kept hearing it's not a planet, so i just assumed it was still there, but someone told me, YOU DIDN'T KNOW?!, Pluto was destroyed!

So, can any of you space buffs or real world people that pay attention to the rest of the world clue me in?
