If she is really serious about winning, she should launch a campaign using the slogan "Obama Been Lyin'!" with posters and bumper stickers and robots all over the country. It doesn't matter if Obama hasn't been telling lie, the slogan is so witty and memorable (it sounds like "Osama Bin Laden", you see) that people will think of him as a liar anyway and her victory will be assured. Make it so.

I'd support Obama if I thought he could beat McCain handily. He would have the black vote (and more blacks would actually bother to register) but the Latino vote would probably swing to McCain. They can't be trusted to blindly vote Democrat. Jeez, they don't even know how to be a proper minority group!

I don't care if it's Hillary or Obama, as long as it's the one that can win.
 
I have a hard time getting interested in ANY politician. Seems to me like they basically do the same thing, whichever party they are.

I thought 2004 was the biggest farce. "Which silver-spoon white guy from the same Yale graduating class do you want to be president?"

It seems to me like in the US at least, it's a plutocracy which is to say that people with money get what they want and nobody else is even in on the conversation.
 
Unless they are able to start a grassroots organization, and live the American Dream of getting a voice in politics and social change, and then become a corrupt bureacracy just like the greedy rich folk they tried to topple.

But yeah, sounds about right.

We won't know until the convention. The super-delegates will choose who wins the Democratic nomination.
 
I think it's great if you want to vote a 102 year old man into power. Still carries infinitely more power than our dead duck PM.

Democrats (my party) can sometimes be the stupidest fucks on the planet. They (We) are all too skilled at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. We're our own worst enemy.
 
It really IS amazing that the Democrats work so hard to lose the presidency, like, all the time...
