I don't think Obama would be as gracious as Hillary has been were he to have been the one come in second. I've had to rethink her again. I still can't vote a democrat in because of our fundamental differences in core beliefs, but I at least have more respect for her than I used to. I still think she owes Bush an apology for her tacky behaviour on the senate floor. She may not like him but she should respect that office, especially since she covets it so.
I find it interesting how Barrack and Michelle have both backpedalled from their previous statements that show what kind of people they really are. The press is still eating them with a spoon, albeit a much smaller spoon - a tablespoon instead of a soup ladle.
I think McCain better choose a very good candidate for his VP.
Although I am anti-abortion, I do not like abortion being the nasty head that keeps popping up. It is a settled matter and even though I do not like the reasons for it, feel we have to leave it in place to keep innocents outside the womb protected from the murderous types. Unfortunately, that leaves the innocents inside the womb unprotected but in this society we can only protect one or the other. Too bad we can't retroactively abort the aborters for the same reasoning they use to kill their unborn babies. "Oh, I think you'll be a nuisance in 9 months so let's crush all your bones, suck out your innards and inject you with saline. Next."
