Hi there, everybody, long time no see. I was just scanning through some old threads, Trek bbs, EFCL and all that shit, ah good old times! :) Now I wonder how some of the old guard is doing, can somebody give me some update? Lets see, I am wondering about Santy, Menty, Ely, Jurg, Wacky, Mogh, Bathl, mm, Bobby, Robbie, Vert, PreatorX, Jim, LG, Blazerboy, Joel, Blooded, Para, Loki, Sarek, Red, Jazza, BDM, Gagh... and so on and on. And is Lonaf still up? The last tiem I checked there were couples forming and kids being born, are the love birds still together?

Bastiaan and I are great, every day more in love, pleased to report! :love: I am working in Amsterdam now at a big Dutch law firm and thats why we bought end of last year a big house near Adam. We got it totally renovated by some cheap but very skilled and talented Russians and it has become our own little heaven. Bastian is still doing his programming thing (whatever that might be, he tried to explain it to me but I am just nog getting it, its like math to me). We have no kids yet and thats how I like it. I am still of the opinion that kids carry diseases and cost a fortune! So no thank you! Maybe when we are wealthy enough to hire two au pairs... and a surrogate! lol I love my job, life is great as it and I hope it goes on like this! We found a new hobby - traveling! We try to get away as much as possible and just enjoy life. I think that I already have like three or four next trips already planned out.

So come on, bring me up to date, how is the old guard doing? Greets, Alja
 
Ha, blast from the past! Of course, although lately I am more of a Martini Bianco person! How are you doing? :))
 
Had the same job for the last five and a half years, been married five years, got a kid about to turn 5 and I'm about to turn 40, live in a nice quiet area and my wife has started work, which means I get to keep more of my own wages.

If people I love didnt keep dying life would be pretty sweet.
 
CALLI!!!!!!!!! Wow, very long time no see.

Let's see, I went to work for Aflac and after being placed in different offices (I was a CSC, then an SA and then in marketing.) The terrible economy caught up with the duck and I was laid off in March. No big, I took the time to bond with my then soon-to-be step-son and to plan my gorgeous wedding. Surprise, surprise BDM and I married in June! We've had full custody of BDM's son for over a year now and lately he's taken to calling me, "mom"...I can't imagine loving a child more, he's wonderful!!

BDM and I close on our big, beautiful, brand new house tomorrow and will be moving the weekend after Thanksgiving. Thank GOD, I can't wait!

I haven't found another job but BDM and I decided that whatever I find it's going to have to be part-time, I am very needed at home.

Check back in a couple weeks, don't be a stranger, maybe we'll have baby news, who knows?!

Glad things are going well with you guys!

Oh and you didn't ask but Retrotrek has been married and divorced and is now living in Texas and dating a Swede. She's a teacher, as always.

Oh yeah, and Gagh totally hates my guts, he thinks I'm a home wrecker.
 
I should also tell you that as the Bush era came to a close I was not much of a fan at all but I think Obama is a socialist moron. I will not vote in the next presidential election if someone doesn't find an honest to goodness middle. I'm SO OVER the two party system.

I'm relatively okay.

BobbyT was arrested for killing all those hookers. At last the streets are safe again.
 
I've been gone for 3 years and this place is still up? :) How are you, people? Everybody still ok?

I am not "ok" Calli, but u r sweet as punch to ask. I am rapidly decaying as I type this response...rotting like a 2,000 year old corpse long buried & left for dead!
