How do people know what their face is doing

How the fuck to neurotypicals know what expressions their face is making, how do they control their face, how are they aware that they're making an appropriate expression, who do they do cutesy facial expressions ON THE FLY, do they fuckng have like picture in picture in the minds where they can see what their face looks like in a little box so they're aware of what they're FUCING DOING there must be a trick to it, I've never once been aware of what my face is fucking doing.

I have been told to smile on occasion. It is always annoying to be told that. I don't think about what my face looks like until someone takes a picture of me and I see what it looks like when I make an expression.
I am more aware of my voice and how it sounds or what "tone" I am putting out.

I was constantly asked WTF was wrong with me at work, because I looked as though I was mad at the world. I mean, most of the time it was early in the morning, and I am not a morning person. But apparently I have RBF (Resting Bitch Face) and didn't even know it until someone said something.

There is a discussion about that somewhere else and it has made me aware that often people may leave from my office and I never once made eye contact.

Sorry I just typed that and you said "Don't get you started!"

I get it!

That’s a good question. I guess it’s like how you know where your hand is if you close your eyes. Part imagination, part feeling how much your elbow is or isn’t creased, etc.

People don’t always know what expression they’re pulling, though. People get it wrong, or give away more than they intend to. So it’s not like NTs are getting it right all the time.

It's ironic though that I'm so attracted to Ella Purnell because of her amazing eye and eyebrow control. I think it starts as fascination and turns to addiction (to looking at girls with big expressive eyes.)

People who tell other people to smile should be forced to look at images of James Corden naked then have "NOW YOU TRY SMILING" shouted in their fucking faces.

I thought for sure someone was going to tell me to smile today. There was something that happened at work that caused a lot of stress today and I couldn't fake anything.

I remember an incident where I was a manager and a worker told me to smile and I really just wanted to say, "If you gave me something to smile about I would" but I was a nice person then so I didn't and I probably awkwardly smiled.
