How do you organise your thoughts?

CaptainWacky

I want to smell dark matter
HOw?

I get out my thoughts en masse first then I edit, move things around... take several breaks throughout, maybe even come back to it if there's time. When I write papers it's best if I go through several drafts (though that hardly ever happens).

Or is that at all what you're talking about?

First come, first served.,

Apologize second for speaking without thinking.

Like grains of sand in a sieve.

first sort: reality vs. fantasy

I make detailed lists of things to do on little pieces of paper all over the world. You too may one day stumble across an LC list of "things to do" ;)

Pretty easy:
I have room in my brain for exactly 7 thoughts at once. When a new one occurs, the first one in line just gets deleted.*
Yep. Goes over the plank like an English captain on a goddamn pirate ship.

Uh, what was your question again?

*OK, anyone who knows where I stole that idea earns my everlasting devotion and, more importantly, gets some grey karma.

LOL, not sure if that is supposed to be the explanation of how your mind works, or a guess, but if the latter...
Nope... unless my source has stolen it from there lol
(hint: it's a book, and it is very distantly related to 42)

One of the Hitchikers books then?

(Zero Sum Mind was a play I did in highschool, where everyone forgets something for every new piece of info they learn ;) )

I don't think, that saves on thoughts and hence, no organisation is needed

GOOD ANSWERS

I have terrible flashbacks so I make sure I blanket my mind with fantasies of me and Captain Kirk ALL THE TIME. This saves me from banging my head against the wall.

Lost character have terrible flashbacks!

Some come alive.

lol... I wish my fantasy would come alive. I'd probably get tired of Captain Kirk eventually and I'd wish I could turn him off.. maybe put him in a big box and only take him out when I need him LIKE A ROBOT. Maybe I should start fantasizing about Data.

Data fantasies are goood.

I don't really try to organize them at all. I guess I've been blessed in that if I need to remember something important, I tend to do so.

by thoughtfulness of the thought that i am thinking. like a thoughtfulness meter.
