Yah, I spent a few days converting every MP3 to AAC. Since I can convert them back at any time I want to, it seems pointless taking up needless space on the iPOD.

Songs 7576
Videos 316
Photos 25
Games 3

49.5 GB used

This will go down by about 290 songs and 2 videos after I get rid of the Christmas music this week...

Yeah well every time I hear an MP3 with a bitrate of 320 the poison in my blood takes another week to kill me.

The bitrate on all of mine is 128, save for a bunch of AAC converted downloaded Game soundtrack items. It's more than enough quality once I've adjusted the sound to be a little louder.

I used to settle on 128, but I can't anymore. Too much tin and sizzle on the high end, not enough oomph on the low end.

It sure feels that way when I compare some 320's against 128's on Media Player, but like I said, once I've sound-corrected them through iTunes, there's not that much difference.

128 is like drinking tesco value cola when you were expecting coca-cola.

Doesn't bother me too much. Not all that fussy about it.

THEN YOU HAVE NO SOUUUULLLLl

:)

If the iPod's preset EQ's were better I'd agree. But I can't find one that suits me.

I'm an audio drama queen.

YES I DO. IT'S JUST A BARGAIN HALF-PRICE SOUL, MISTER HIGH-MAINTENANCE!
